I've been absent for nine weeks, oh what a nine weeks it was.... *huffs.* Actually besides the illness, car-wreck, and more illness it's also been the luckiest nine weeks. Maybe I'm just counter balancing bad luck with good luck *shrugs.*
The Bad - Caught some type of flue nine weeks ago and then about 10 days into it that turned into Pneumonia well doc said it would last about 6-8 weeks till I felt back to normal. In the meantime two weeks ago on a Friday I barely missed death's door in a car wreck that involved 6 cars with two fatal deaths. I have no clue how my car/me came out of it with out a scratch on us; we're talking I was plum smack in the middle of the whole thing and weaved my way through wreckage before coming to a stop on the side of the road. Then you think that wasn't enough right when my Pneumonia is clearing up and I think yeah I can go outside do even a photo shoot ( I didn't use OFF) and I caught West Nile Virus. Texas is having a serious outbreak on it. Let me tell you when they say your neck is going to hurt and you're going to get a headache they're not lieing.
The Good - First my husband is from Sweden and he's on his third year with me, he officially has a green card now as of two months ago before he was on temporary visa. He also has gotten three pay raises in the last three years working at Apple. I'm so proud of him. We've been trying for kids for years but no luck out of the blue my good friend needed someone to take care of her daughter and low behold I adopted I new girl into my life. She's 17, bright, straight A student in all her AP classes, few teenager out burst, and looks like a super model. We're so proud of her. I'm slowly finishing up my OZ Collection and will be show casing it at Austin's Comic Con. Plus I started my new job... now that the illness is almost behind me life is looking great.
Hocus Pocus, Bubble and Brew.... It's witching time!!
