This is exactly what photo-manipulation is. It’s taking something mundane and making it pop, something unrealistic to reality, or something that creates a lie. It makes the perfect illusion. Its beginnings for political propaganda maybe a little shady but where the form ended up at is purely art. It’s even linked into self esteem issues for men and woman who are fooled by fashion magazines that what they are seeing on the cover is real. On the other hand from my perspective I allow my clients to believe in something and be able to live out a fantasy. To pull away from the experience saying wow I never knew I was that beautiful. Believe me we all are beautiful creatures. I have been perfecting my craft for about 8 years now and photo-manipulation is still my favorite medium. I have dedicated my next feature to people that have improved this unique genre. I hope you enjoy the artist I have selected as the cream of the crop. These are artist that will leave you breathless.
